I think this is a great product with a lot of success potential, but the 1000 API Credits per month for $99 should be increased to at least 5000. Then it will become a real no-brainer
Im currently using which does all of this for free. I think the bulk background removal should not be a feature request but the first on your todo list as that is generally the premium feature in other apps like this. Just removing bg for one picture can be found in many free apps out there.

I am not following about the API credit per month! Is it a plug in on photoshop so that i can easily to click a button to remove the background in photoshop.

Hi. Thank you for considering BackgroundCut. The bulk upload of images is not there, but I have included it in the “Feature Request” section of my roadmap. Right now my main focus is on improving the AI quality, the editor features, the plugin ecosystem and the overall experience. Only when these things are polished enough, I will start working on the background image removal feature.
So far the BackgroundCut app is very good but I encountered some issues such as:
1. There is always an internal server error when uploading images without reloading the page first. Maybe it’s because of the recaptcha. I always have to reload the page before uploading another image. Please fix this problem.
2. I can’t download HD quality of some of the pictures I uploaded. Is this because of source picture quality itself?

1. Yes, the Recaptcha is placed to prevent bot attacks. A page not refreshed for several hours expires. I will change this behavior such that in suspicion, it allows manual Recaptcha solving. I apologize for the inconvenience for the time being.
2. Images which are lower than 0.25 MP (eg, 500px * 500px, 400px * 600px etc) comes under preview image resolution and the high-resolution download button gets disabled. However, if the images are larger than 0.25MP and still the high-resolution download button is disabled, please report to [email protected] as it might be a bug and I will rectify it asap.

Hi, I am interested in your product. I have tried many background removal software, and I ended up going with ClippingMagic. So, far it’s proved to be the best. I am interested in buying this deal. But I have one problem, when I tested your product, there was no way of me helping the AI. So, with most background removal software, if it misses something you can help guide it. Mark areas that should be kept and removed. You know this already as you are in this industry. So, please let me know how comes your product can’t do that. Thanks for getting back to me. I checked it with the team: Planning to make it live by the end of this week. As of now, the editor will allow to manually keep or remove foreground and background as desired with a marker tool. By next week, we will be trying to add a hair-masking tool to it, which will allow to manually keep or remove the extremely fine hair details which AI couldn’t capture. Also, the editor will allow replacing the background with a solid color as of now. Hope this answers the question.
Hi Tom, I just purchased the deal. I saw that you added the image edit. It makes a huge different, I feel its going in the right direction you should do well with this, although there are a lot more players now. FYI, I am sure you thought of this or are working on it, but the selection tool on Clipping Magic almost works like a magic selection tool if that makes sense. Almost like you select a bit to keep and the AI tries to work if you wanted this whole section that is pink as an example. I think something like that will give you an edge, especially as you have the API. I am not sure if others do API. Your the first I saw mention it. 1. Uploaded images stay for a maximum duration of 120 minutes, and then are deleted from the server.
2. I am working on a new photo editor which will allow you to keep the foreground or remove the background manually. This is will also allow you to change the background to solid color as of now. Changing the background with a custom image or gradient will not be immediately supported, however, we might add it later on.
4 & 5. As mentioned, we will not store any of the user’s data ever.
