I see that this deal is coming to an end. Unfortunately, full stack plan has not been offered as LTD. I advise people not to get this deal because of the limitations. If you do, you’ll get stuck in this platform and will entail effort on your part to shift to a different one. Hopefully, Dealify can bring another community management platform with better terms. Let’s just wait. It’s only a matter of time.
I was planning to buy this because I saw in your help area that there’s a feature to translate every word – but now discovered that the plan that is required for this feature is not offered here. I’m not giving my potential members the unprofessional experience of a half-German, half-English site. I would pay double the price of Midstack lifetime package to get Fullstack lifetime but as long as Fullstack is not available here, I won’t buy that. A bit disappointed because I initially was really excited to buy this and was almost filling out the order form just now…

None of your plans allow full whitelabel as every site needs to have powered by crowdstack on it, so every website we create is essentially advertising your platform, so please reconsider making fullstack available to help more of us get started and excited about using your platform, potentially advertising you much more.
Tribe did a recent offer with full white label included, I understand that you want to keep your name on it but at least give us the functionality, especially as most of these features don’t add cost to you and only add limits for using it in full.
Fullstack recommended for myself, as well as others to move from tribe.so.
The reason I believe that the fullstack is important, is not for a specific feature, but rather to be sure to get all future updates as otherwise it’s too easy to just add all new features to the fullstack.
As I invest in the beginning I want to grow together, rather than being locked out in the future.
Also most comments on the deal are requesting the fullstack option be made available so this is a sign of a company listening to the market, or not.

I’m a little puzzled about this? from what i have read it seems that we are being offered the chance to pay money for a product and also spend our time investing in it building a community only to not own any of the data or be able to email the community that has been built up, is this correct?
I’m assuming if this is correct then what is the alternative solution that is being offered by this product to solve the issue of having control over ones community so that the time they have invested has not been a complete waste of time?
There are so many new digital products being created on a daily basis which are thrown to the market place, in order to solve problems, usually similar problems, it is only the products that listen to their audience and adapt that end up being hugely successful, the others unfortunately end up with regrets they didn’t listen more.

– You can email your community with auto messages in the Midstack plan, custom ‘one-off’ emails are not available in this deal, however you can of course still email from your own email marketing tool to your community.

Hi CC: Yes, this is a community platform. So, you would need to build the community. For example, if you owned a business, you can use the platform to create discussion topics about the product for feedback. Or you can create a community around anything that interests you. You own it because you set the rules…there is not a tech company deciding on whether to censor your posts. You as the owner of the community control this (as long as it is legal). There is an email system included in the platform. Emails are trigger by actions and are system generated but can be customized. Also, there are news flashes and private messaging..so there are lots of ways to communicate within the community.

Yes, it is a community but it has a social feel with the home page ability to scroll through different content types. Pips are quick status updates but the most common used content types are blogs and discussion topics. Topics can also be organized as forums. For example if you have a Crowdstack site about a soccer team, you can create categories (Forums) around Players, Competitors, and Schedule. Then your members create topics to discuss these areas in a organized approach.
Crowdstack has emails that are generated by the site based on actions. For example, you can configure the site to send an email to a new member when the join. Or, you can create an automated rule that triggers an email to congratulate them when they make their first post. There are also notification emails that can be sent when a new post is created. Each member controls their notification settings. Private messaging is included as well. You can sent to a specific person or a group of people.
Custom CSS is the code used to alter the words or appearance of certain parts of the crowdstack site. For example., you can type a footer or you can create the code to change the color or font or alignment.
The platform is in English but menu items can be changed to any language in these plans and you can post in most languages. In the Full Stack plan you can change any word on the platform and upload an entire translation. There are crowdstack sites in multiple languages now.

I am also torn about buying due to the inability to go full stack in the future. I do not expect you to provide fullstack as LTD, but maybe a discounted price for fullstuck for us midstack LTD owners? or selling features individually? I mainly want to export customer data, and email users (even if through integration, I don’t expect you to pay for those emails, of course). Bare in mind that not all of your clients are in the US, in my case, I am in Argentina, where 399 USD is 2 standard monthly salaries, so even if I charged for some features, realistically i couldn’t charge more than 1 or 2 dolars a month… A discounted price to reach fullstack features would be greatly appreciated.
1. If users can’t post status updates (pips), is it really a social network or comunity? What is the “standard” ativity if they can’t post?
2. Is the platform multilingual? can I use it in Spanish and, eventually, have users select language? (i am a Spanish translator and translation business owner, so let me know if you need help with that)
3. If I don’t have webspace, how am I supposed to use custom CSS? should I host them in my own hosting?
4. I read in a response to another user that some emails are included, such us email on signup, what other situations generate emails that are included in midstack? being tagged? new post in a group? New posts by people you follow/are friends with?
5. Private mesaging between members is included, but chatrooms are not, am i understanding correctly?
6. Your “pricing” page, which is more like a features page, does not explain what topics are, and how they are diferent from pips, could you?
7. Can you provide some examples of comunities built with crowdstack so we can see it in action? 🙂

These can be customized in the settings or automated rules, when set up. In addition, private messaging between one or more members is included.

I was going to buy a few codes but I am glad that I read the reviews and it was pointed out that this wasnt the FullStack. Still a decent deal, but really hate that those fullstack features are not included.

This is Molly from Crowdstack. What features are you interested in? There may be ways to utilize the existing features to help you get there. For example, for Topics, they can be grouped into Forums where you can restrict or hide access based on roles and members – these can be subgroups of sorts.
One of the main selling point here is that you own the data. Would it be possible to allow those who buy this deal the ability to email members and download member data? I have it in my cart, and ready for purchase but without owning members profile data I am better off going to something else.
Not a buy if no full stack deal. A shame because you have had some good deals on lately!

Looks like you’re missing a big trick here Ted. I think people are willing to pay for a Fullstack plan, even if it’s a 10-code+ deal – comments are all about the same thing: an upgrade path or a stacked deal for the whole shebang. You could gain a lot more satisfied customers if you reconsidered

Midstack deal comes with many limitations making it very hard to launch a decent full fledged community. I wanted to stack few ltds but after seeing the limitations and difference with the full stack I find it hard to proceed unless you reconsider with the vendor to offer us the Fullstack Ltd instead. The Midstack is very limited in options and features to consider. Thanks!
