I just ran into your powerful software — and am interested to purchase. However, when I look at your website and the “What is New” section, it seems like the tool has been in active development up to end of 2021, with the latest update on 5 January… We run an organization that rescues street children in Tanzania, and are strapped for funds — so I really do not want to invest in something that may be abandoned or dysfunctional within 1 or 2 years… Can you please give me an honest answer as to how actively, positively the tool is still developing?

If you would be part of our Facebook group, you would read our announcements and see what we are working on. If you check our dashboard app version and release date (in Settings), you would notice that our latest release 2.46.1 was released 5.5.2022.
So by just reading the “News” section might not be the best source to judge our current development process.
Btw, you can check our roadmap to see what we are currently working on, and what new features are planned.
And yes, we are in active development of our platform as I have a vision in what Trust is going to be in near future. At least from my end it looks like our development was never so active in the past than at current times…

So I can still collect lets say 1000 review and show 200 of them. But, the widget will still tell that i have 1000 reviews but only 200 is visible to read to the public. Is that correct?

This is a HUGE disappointment. Every single review platform allows you to publish limited number of reviews, yes. BUT, they show the total number of reviews you have with average rating for all those reviews.
For example on ProvenExpert I have over 1200 reviews and the widget says that and the site says that. But the public can only read 100 of these. This is how it should be.
Is this something you guys will fix? Because this just put you in a disadvantage when compared to all other review platforms.

But we are still working on a lot of enhancements, for instance for the Floating Stars tool. And this tool will get several updates in future. One of them will allow you to configure the tool to show all reviews from all external review platforms you configured.

What is Consent by eContracts?
An eContract is a GDPR compliant contract with your customer/client that allows you to show their data on your website, and use their testimonial for marketing / advertising purposes. You define the text of this contract, and your reviewer sees it as a part of a testimonial request form + needs to sign it in order to submit a testimonial.
